The Glory Days (pt.1)

My crowning glory,

Our on and off romance has lasted just about five years. There were times when all I wanted to do was caress your beautiful strands and times when all I wanted to do was cut them all off! 😡😤😡But truth be told, looking back on all those memories, I am so proud of what we have achieved together. And I wouldn’t change a thing.

No really, I mean that. You thrived beyond my expectations. You surprised me and grew to 16 inches. Okay, 15.96 inches to be exact when I measured with my ruler. But who cares where the remaining 0.04inches went? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I know I once said my goal was for you to grow till you were sweeping the floor but my dear you have done well enough. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I rate you. I’ve pulled you out many times out of frustration and you still grew. The ice cold German winter froze you to breaking point but you still bounced back. You are like- invincible! There’s so much fire in you!!! 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏼

I still remember when we were at ground zero. And I mean that literally. Zero hair in the middle of my head. Just thinking about it now brings me to tears.

Yikes!!!! 👀 Yep, that was you and me back in the day. It’s embarrassing abi? You lucky it’s not an actual snap of the bald spot. I deleted that one quick time. That was our life then. Pretty pathetic, huh? Couldn’t do much with you so I always had to find a away to hide you. You know, save my rep.

But enough of that. I’ve put some pictures together so that we will always remember our glory days now that we are going deeper in nature (that’s how I describe locking you up, sounds beautiful, don’t it?). So here’s to celebrating 5 years of the baddest romance on natural earth!
